Ever have a slow cooker that seems to always overcook your food? Oh, and when the recipe says to cook on low for 6 hours, but after 2 it’s already overcooked? Argh! I HATE that! I recently invested in this new slow cooker as it is programmable. It has a user-friendly touchpad control panel and four cooking modes that include high, low, simmer, and warm. When the cook time ends, the appliance automatically shifts to the “warm” setting, so dinner stays hot and ready to serve without overcooking. It has a glass lid; nonslip rubber feet; stay-cool handles for safety. Oh! I forgot to mention it’s OVAL, so whole chickens fit much better in it! Slow cookers are a great way to eat healthy too. It’s not too big and not too little and perfect for a small family. I learned through my research that if you don’t have the slow cooker at least 2/3 full, it will overcook your food too. No wonder that big one I got for a wedding present 12 years ago always cooked too quickly!
I look forward to better crockpot cooking with this beauty! It has great reviews all over the web (believe me, I did my research). Right now you can save $57 on it too! What a deal! 🙂 You know Cuisinart is a good brand too. Check it out!
