Mindful Monday- Just Stand

just stand

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”  – Ephesians 6:10-17

I apologize for missing the past few Mindful Monday posts. I have to just be honest and say that life has been beating me down really hard lately.  My faith is still intact and some days it’s all I have to cling to, but it’s my belief that it’s at these times when the Lord teaches us that He is all we need.  When our relationship with Jesus is where it should be…first…everything else will fall into place.  I don’t see that right now with my physical eyes, but I believe I will and I know that’s called “FAITH”.  So this week I’m just going to share some videos and scripture that’s on my heart and hope that it encourages you and helps you to remember that when you’ve prayed your hardest, done all you can in your own strength, we need to “just stand” and trust the Lord to take over.  If you’re in that place too, this is for you…  God bless!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
