Does this look like your car windshield? Forget to buy de-icer? Not a problem! I bet you already have the ingredients for a fresh homemade batch right there in your kitchen pantry or bathroom closet! Here in north central Ohio, we are under a wind chill warning and I wouldn’t want to go out just to buy some de-icer 🙂 Here’s what you do:
1 part water
2 parts rubbing alcohol OR 3 parts vinegar
Mix it together and pour into a spray bottle. Spray on your windshield and let sit up to five minutes (longer if the ice is really thick) and the ice will scrape off really easily!
To make the morning scrape even easier, spray it on the night before. That’s it! Easy peasy 🙂
