Christmas Baking Post-a-Thon Day 7: Cream Cheese Pie (with coupons!)

37 Days of Christmas Baking Post-a-Thon - Calvary Couponers dot com

Whew….I’m now caught up!  Back on track with my baking blog series for Christmas 🙂 I hope you all enjoy!

This next one reminds me of two things.  1. My grandma. Grandma made this exact same thing and called it Cherry Delight. 2. The Yellow Deli.  The Yellow Deli was a restaurant owned by Christians (and employed by mostly Christians) and they served this Cream Cheese Pie there too. Good memories 🙂

DAY 7:  Cream Cheese Pie

Cream Cheese Pie

16  ounces  cream cheese — softened

1/3   cup  lemon juice — or to taste

14   ounces  sweetened condensed milk

1  teaspoon  vanilla

1  whole  graham cracker pie crust, 9 inch

Mix cheese and milk in mixer on high until well blended.  Stir in lemon juice and vanilla a little at a time.  Then mix on high several minutes (it will set up best when you mix it longer)

Pour into graham cracker pie crust, or crust of your choice.

Chill 2 hours or until set.  Top with your choice of topping or nothing at all!
